Grit bin required and filled, and road gritted
Reported via desktop in the Gritting Request - Roads category by Clare Rowell at 14:19, Tuesday 16 January 2024
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5451206.
Every year we contact to ask for the road that runs through Pawston and is between the B6352 and the Kelso to Wooler road, to be gritted and to obtain a grit bin filled, which we can use ourselves. There are 6 properties here, the road is used by many including the binmen, postman, farmers, locals and nhs services to an elderly lady. No grit bin has ever been delivered nor grit and the last time we asked all we had was a lad on a quad bike which hardly dropped much on the road. It’s a dangerous hill and 2 sharp bends, twice the cottage has been hit by vehicles out of control on the ice. Please could you sort this out for us? Thank you.
