As above, sandstone bridge walling. Stone at centre of the arch and at road level. No idea if this is a weakness starting to show but looks pretty grim. It

  • Hole in side wall of Thropton Bridge (left hand going twds Rothbury). Don't think it's structural but could allow ingress of water which may affect loads stones below...in time??
