  • Further to the earlier response, an engineer has attended this street lighting unit and has identified a tree trim is required, which will be carried out in due course.

  • Fix my street reference 5374985 and 4940673

Further to the 2 previous reports of a failure of this street light 3306CR it was inspected yesterday and can’t be fixed because a tree trim is required. This is unacceptable as the street is very dark and the lamp which is out is in a parking bay and leaves cars susceptible to vandalism and is a hazard to pedestrians, furthermore these trees have been overhanging for a long time and a trim was requested by another resident in the street in August 2023 this reference being 4940673.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 20:12, Monday 29 January 2024

  • Still not fixed. A resident in the street has had to get a garden company he pays for to trim the foliage, even though it grows outside of his boundary, i.e. on the street side of his fence. And yet the light is still not fixed. This is totally unacceptable. A can turned up with a cherry picker recently. It went to a different light down the burn a bit the workers didn’t get out the van, then it drove off again after only a few minutes.
