Warning extremely loud gas cannon pointing here

Reported via mobile in the Other Right of Way Issue category anonymously at 17:50, Sat 9 December 2023

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5300619.

Any walkers need to be made aware that there is an extremely loud gas cannon pointing directly at this path and is loud not only from this path, but also along adjacent road leading up to the houses on the main Stamfordham road.

The gas cannon is so loud that it sounds like been shot at at short range and if you are not expecting it triggers heart palpitations.

The loudness is dangerous for anyone with a heart condition.

Please ensure that this path and surrounding road is made safe from this unacceptable noise nuisance so that walkers can safely walk this route without triggering health conditions.

  • Please note that the firing of the gas cannon in the vicinity of the public footpath and the road is likely a fire arms offence especially as it is loud enough to trigger heart palpitations in passing walkers
