Continuing dog fouling

Reported via mobile in the Dog Fouling category anonymously at 20:44, Thu 30 November 2023

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5270481.

11, Cottingwood Lane leading down to Dawson place. On pavement as previous. I haven’t cleaned up Two days of fouling this time to show council team. I asked for warning signage last time but never heard anything. We do continually clean away fouling,if you wondered where these areas are. Obviously the ignorant and completely irresponsible individuals continue in allowing their dogs to foul pavement. These areas have heavy footfall from school,so even more disgusting. Please put up more permanent signage please.Especially lamppost adjacent 11 Cottingwood,Ne611ea leading to Dawson place. Regards Kevin Robinson

  • Unfortunately same issues as ever. Incredibly ignorant dog owners allowing their animals to shit on public paths outside our properties. More signage if possible but until successful prosecution takes place, problem will continue.

  • No change unfortunately. Can you possibly put more signage up. Noticed only one sticker appeared on lamppost. Folk are just ignorant I’m afraid, school children even walked through muck this week. No change.

  • Cottingwood Lane is constantly covered in dog excrement. Only this week, twice have neighbours had to clear up after completely selfish pet owners. This is a school route so children are always walking through excrement. Even after repeated reports you have only put up one sticky notice. Please can we have more permanent notices and perhaps catch and fine these individuals.
