The A68 between Broomley fell farm and into Durhams area at Carterway heads is devoid of functioning cat-eyes.

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 16:09, Fri 24 November 2023

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5250237.

The Stretch of the A68 between Broomley Fell Farm and Carterwayheads, and beyond...has no roadside lighting and the central line cat-eyes are critical, unfortunately almost all of them need to be replaced as they are not reflecting as they should...needless to say this is a very fast, potentially dangerous A road..the verges are very soft and actually seeing the road surface can be difficult and with oncoming traffic on full beam.Cat-eye reflections on the centre line are vital for safety.
