Verges/drainage damaged - road surface covered in mud
Reported via mobile in the Damaged by vehicles category anonymously at 17:16, Sun 19 November 2023
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5229898.
This single carriageway road is a popular cycle route which also serves local residents. Heavy vehicles have damaged verges/drainage and caused dangerous road conditions close to the adjacent bend/junction. Road surface covered in mud - water does not drain away in wet conditions. There are numerous other similar problems from this point along this section of road past Rivergreen Kennels through to the junction with the Meldon Road.

Although the loading of heavy vehicles which caused this problem has now ceased, the road surface is still extremely muddy and the adjoining verges / drains have not been repaired

As per my last update - "Although the loading of heavy vehicles which caused this problem has now ceased, the road surface id still extremely muddy and adjoining verges / drains have not been repaired." What is the point of these updates if they are not sent to the Council and no action ensues?
