Huge pothole
Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 22:40, Fri 17 November 2023
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5225784.
I have reported this section of road from the T junction coming from Scots Gap to the turn off at The Oaks Pub in Middleton several times as it has been repaired in sections only for it to break open and become increasingly dangerous! Nothing has been done! It seems a short term fix and not a proactive long term approach to keep patching up our roads! Consequently this huge hole across the middle of the road fills up with rain water and can catch road users out and is highly treacherous - please resurface the road, as the entire stretch has broken resurfaced lumps, bumps and potholes! We pay our rates and deserve value for money and not broken pot-holed dangerous roads as part of our daily journeys!

It is highly dangerous, potentially life threatening if you hit it in the dark or when it is filled with rainwater! You have not fulfilled your promise of fixing it within 14 days!!! However, like I said, only temporary patching of ‘not very high quality’ like the patchwork quilt of repairs on the strip of road along Belsay Main Street is reactive instead of proactive and is no way to use our taxes. The road from the T-junction approaching Scots Gap to the turn off for the Ox is disgraceful and needs resurfacing!
