Still the same no streets have been cleaned. The streets are an absolute disgrace do we have to stop paying the council tax to get anything done.

On 8th January a very large highways road sweeper came into the village far too large for the narrow lanes with cars parked. It did not stay long and left the village. It came back the next day but stayed a very short time not completing sweeping the lanes it missed the day before. It would help if a notice was put in post office and village notice boards to let people know when a smaller sweeper was coming. So the roads are still a disgrace.

The small sweeper has been off the road for repairs for a number of months but is now back on the road and attended Linton on 9th Fabruary 2024. Areas where the sweeper could access have been swept. Linton is difficult to sweep due to the design of the streets and the number of parked vehicles. We will look to work with the local parish council and county councillor on how we can let local residents know when we will next be in the area, however, we have done this in the past with limited success.

The small sweeper was not in the village long enough to go round the streets he sat outside our corner end for twenty minutes then left the village he never attempted to come down our backstreet. It still has not been swept.
