Kerbside drain cover collapsing by lamppost and opposite turning to Williams Close off Robsons Way

This drain cover is collapsing into the road. I reported this months ago and nothing has been done to repair it. It is also located near a small green area. I fear it may cause tyre damage to cars or cyclists. Thank you

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team.
