Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5139402.

The 3 drains on the corner indicated are blocked with mud, debris and now fallen autumn leaves. Rain water cannot drain easily, and during times of heavy or persistent rain there is surface water on the road. Thank you fro your help.

  • These blockages have been reported before a few years ago. A team came out and did a great job clearing mud and debris. I was informed that the 3 drains were now on the Highways map. This is a flood zone , with an number of elderly residents. Since being reported this time, the drains are still blocked and it is winter time. Water on the road will freeze when temperatures drop causing dangerous icy conditions for residents and drivers.
