Tree in dangerous condition

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5136096.

There is a tree on the verge bordering the front of 43 Castle Terrace, Berwick upon Tweed which has suffered damage during storm Babet. A large part of the tree fell into the road and was cleared away by the council.

The remaining part of the tree is in very poor condition and poses high risk from collapsing. Also the council have piled up debris from the recent collapse on the verge in front of our property which needs removing. We have reported this tree before but received no response/ action

  • Thank you for arranging the clearance of debris from the verge however a lot of the small branches and leaves were left which my husband had to clear (7 garden bags). However we still have the issue of the tree which is in a very poor state and ideally needs attention before another major storm.
