Footpath along Fareham Way. NE23
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 17:27, Fri 13 October 2023
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5095308.
I frequently take my dog for a walk in Parkside Cramlington along the footpath on Fareham Way, around the bottom of Shankle School. This footpath is overgrown with bushes and trees. It is impossible for two people to pass each other. Today a lady had to stop at one end, whilst I walked along with my dog, I was half way along the path, and had to step onto a house footpath. She waved me to continue along the path. I think this path is so obstructed, it must be less than half its width. This path has got increasingly worse over many months, if not longer. Please can the trees etc be pruned to allow people to us the path. Also the path is very uneven and a safety hazard. Thank you. I live on Northburn Park

Today I walked with my dog, along the footpath around the bottom of Shanklea Primary School playing field. I am pleased to say the hedge which was blocking the path has now been cut back. However the footpath is still very uneven and a safety hazard.
