Street Lights Not Working

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5063078.

A number of street lights on the corner of the A1171 and the B1326 are inoperative. This is of particular concern as it is the location of sheltered accommodation for older/vulnerable adults. The situation needs to be resolved as a matter of urgency.

  • This problem persists. It was reported on Facebook by the local County Councillor (who is on the case) that work was anticipated to start week commencing 23 October, weather permitting. Well, weather was permitting but not much if anything has happened! The delays in completing this scheme defy explanation.

  • Partially resolved. There are still 3 street lights not working on Newstead Road beside Rosebrough.
