Chicane style barrier required

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5004270.

There is an existing issue of motorbikes commonly using the bridle path as a rat run between Aydon View/Fairfields estates and Hope House Lane. A 'chicane' style barrier already controls access between the bridle path and Merchants Gardens. However, further barriers are required to similarly control access onto Aydon View and the bottom of the bridle path onto Blakelaw Road. Unfortunately, without these controls, this irresponsible, illegal and anti-social behaviour of the few will continue to the rest of us at risk.
