Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 11:39, Tue 12 September 2023
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4985432.
Road markings on the side and middle of the road on a dangerous bend are invisible and need to be re marked Id also like yellow lines on the corner exiting onto the main road outside of my House as cars park on the exit and its impossible to see when pulling out . We need yellow lines along the grass verge too as cars park and its so dangerous.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
I have added your request for double yellow lines to our Directory of Requests database so that they can be considered for inclusion in a future Local Transport Plan (LTP) Programme. Priorities for the LTP Programme are reviewed on an annual basis and the Requests database is the starting point for the review. The prioritisation process for the LTP Programme involves consultation with the local County Councillors and Town/Parish Councils. Issues are scored against LTP criteria and the highest ‘scoring’ issues are recommended for inclusion in the programme. The final draft programme is consulted on at the Council’s Area Committees in the first quarter of each year and the committee papers are publicly available. http://committee.northumberland.gov.uk/ Meetings.aspx

This problem has still not been addressed And the new 20 MPH is not stopping speeding traffic either , they did not adhere to 30MPH so why would they to 20 MPH .
We need proper traffic calming

While the white lines have been re painted on the corner - this does notig to highlight the danger on this corner and how tight the turn is - it should have an extended white line filled in Red to highlight both sides as vehicles are constantly over the centre lines . I also asked for junction markings on the exit from Spring Ville/ South view which are none existent . And to have yellow lines on the junction to prevent parking as vehicles park and you can not see to exit the junction and the corner is blind for traffic coming from the right
