Ferry Road Resurfacing - Extend the work needed.

Evening to Whom is in charge in Highways dept This evening you have began work on Ferry road leading to Egger in Hexham to relay a badly worn out road.

We have sent emails and letters to NCC when we’re notified of the works to question why the works doesn’t extend 20-30 west past the front of our house 2 ferry road. We have complained about the state of the high vibration which has lead to subsidence and huge cracks and shock wages as the heavy trucks rumble past each and every day of the week.

I’ve just spoken to the NCC rep here on site, sorry didn’t get his name but all he said was no more money to complete !! This is totally unacceptable and I suggest someone contacts us to discuss as a matter of urgency before I take things further.

In addition, There is a care home along the road where disabled people with caters walk every single day with no real safe or designated crossing point on what is a very busy road I look forward to hearing from someone urgently before you hear from me!
