Fist sized ball of bitumen in middle of footpath

Reported via desktop in the Surface Condition category anonymously at 10:40, Sat 8 July 2023

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4763094.

Large and hard to see ball of bitumen on the footpath. I tripped on it while jogging at 8am on Saturday morning 8th July, sustained elbow, arm and knee grazes but nothing major. I was watching the ground whilst running and had only just switched from the smoother road surface to the footpath to make way for cars. Definitely requires repair as could easily have been a worse fall had I not put my arms out to protect my face.
