Chicanes badly marked and lit, & increase in traffic volumes - Wansbeck Terrace West Sleekburn

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4671177.

Ever since the Council put in the "horrible" speed humps along Bomersund road, motorists now using this route in large volumes, to get on to the Spine Road. This is a village road, with narrow pavements and NCC have just moved the problem from Bomersund to here. Has been a huge increase in traffic the past 1-2 years,. Parked cars getting damaged and motorists speeding through chicanes, which are always getting damaged. Chicanes poorly lit and marked, especially to those not familiar with road. Can anything be done to at least slow people down here and/or improve the chicane system so motorists can't speed through?
