Egress view blocked by vegetation.

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4593524.

Egress from Clifton Lane onto busy (& fast) A192 seriously impeded by overgrown vegetation. On the evening of 24th May I witnessed a near collision as a vehicle entered the A192. It is almost impossible to view traffic in either direction when entering the A192 form Clifton Lane. URGENT ATTENTION REQUIRED....EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Thank you.

  • This mateer has now been reported at least twice that I know of, once via this portal, and once on Friday 16th June directly to Northumberland County Council, shortly after there'd been a road traffic collision between two vehicles. The operator told me that this matter was being passed to the 'out of hours team'. At the time of writing this danger still exists.
